Updates from Supervisor Ronen’s Office
Our office wants to be sure you and BBA are getting info and support you need to weather this health emergency.
First, please be sure to keep an eye on www.sf.gov/coronavirus the one-stop for information.
For small businesses, we’ve been working with the Office of Economic and Workforce Development – see https://oewd.org/.
There is a Small Business Resiliency Grant in place, and we are working on a Small Business Rent Stabilization loan program. More will be developing, I’m sure. And, we are here for you. Please let folks know to reach out to us.
Legislative Aide to Supervisor Hillary Ronen
Update on March 17th @ 3.41pm
Letting you know also that Supervisor Ronen just introduced legislation to create a Small Business Rent Stabilization Loan through the city, unsecured no-interest loans up to $15,000 to businesses with receipts less than $1.1 million per year to cover three months of rent, mortgage, or fixed operating costs, with no payments due for 12 months. We are doing what we can to move it through the legislative process as quickly as possible. Very interested to hear your feedback.
